Internship Content Management E-Commerce – Leipzig

Art Heroes fills the gap between artworks from Ikea and art galeries. We offer original artworks for a reasonable price. We think that an empty wall is a missed opportunity!

We are a startup and originated from Holland. We launched about two years ago and have proved the concept in the low lands. We won some major awards like ‘best starting webshop’ and ‘best e-commerce startup’ from The Next Web.

Our open platforms allows everyone with a creative edge to start a shop and start selling artworks. We take care of technology, payments, customer service, production and shipping for every artwork they sell. We gather the best artworks and showcase them at Art Heroes. Consumers and business can browse the extensive selection and really find the art that fits their style. After selecting the artwork they can decide on the material and the size they want to have it printed. Everything is printed on demand.

After launching in Germany, it is time to spread our wings. We need your help to localize Art Heroes for the French, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish market. So join us at your earliest possible start date in Leipzig and help us fill all empty walls!

We are a small team in Leipzig (being in daily contact to another team in Utrecht). We are looking for passionate online minded people who are fluent in English or German and in one of the languages mentioned above. You love to know everything about everything and are very focussed on results.

Your tasks

• + Localization of our ‘custom-art-platform’ for the French, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish market
• + Translation and writing of website content
• + Editing of artwork titles and descriptions
• + Setting up social media profiles
• + Setting up SEM campaigns
• + Contacting and acquiring local artists
• + Processing of customer inquiries

Your profile

• + Speaking French, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish
• + Good translation and (copy)writing skills (ability to put yourself in the position of the person who uses the site)
• + Affinity for start-ups
• + Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• + Experience with content management systems would be beneficial
• + Basic HTML-Skills
