Seasons Every three months starts a new season, also known as season time. Below are all four seasons / four seasons with the dates when a season begins and ends. When does spring, summer, fall and winter begin? The periods are divided into an Astronomical and Meteorological section. The Astronomical and Meteorological Seasons have a different start and end date. The meteorological seasons start on the first of the months of March, June, September and December to keep climatic calculations simple and uniform. The Astronomical Seasons begin around the 21st of the same months.
