The original photograph for this photo art image was aken during the afternoon siesta. It shows absolutely no activity in the main square of Paciano, Umbria, Italy. The tables and chairs are ready for people, and in fact the bar is still open, it is only the shops that are closed. One thing to note in this picture is the different horizontals - the wooden beam, the stone steps leading to the wooden door and the edge of the paved area are all different. In fact the road to which this paved area is attached is not completely flat so the slope reflects that - the wooden beam is very crooked though!
