The Tour de France 64 edition is a hommage to the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO 1960s sports car that won the 1964 Tour de France race.
The Ferrari F12berlinetta Tour de France 64 — TDF64 — is one of the most extraordinary, focused, and emotionally charged special series Ferraris of the modern era — a machine that pays magnificent homage to the legendary Ferrari 250 GT that dominated the Tour de France Automobile endurance race in 1964 while simultaneously representing Ferrari's front-engined V12 grand tourer at its most thrillingly, uncompromisingly extreme.
Produced in an extremely limited series of just 799 examples, the TDF64 takes the already sensational F12berlinetta as its foundation and transforms it into something approaching a road-legal racing car — lighter, more aerodynamically aggressive, and dynamically more extreme than any standard F12berlinetta in every measurable dimension.
The aerodynamic bodywork is dramatically and beautifully modified — a prominent front splitter, aggressive side air intakes, distinctive rear haunches, and a dramatic active rear spoiler system generating substantial downforce working in concert with the sophisticated underbody aerodynamics to keep this 780 horsepower machine planted with racing car authority and precision at all speeds.
At its heart sits Ferrari's magnificent naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V12 engine — further developed from the standard F12berlinetta's already extraordinary unit — producing 780 horsepower at a screaming 8,500 rpm.
